Sustainability
Zero harm
In 2024, we launched our new ‘House of Safety’ framework – an evolved, company-wide strategy to reinforce safety in all that we do. Our proactive approach targets leadership, risk awareness and standardisation to support a world-class safety culture.

Our zero-harm strategy takes a comprehensive approach to health and safety, addressing risk awareness and the cultural and systemic factors that underpin workplace safety through three strategic priorities:
1. Leadership
We believe that safety should be driven from the very top. Through Daily Management, our leaders are directly involved in the daily oversight of safety practices and decision-making. In parallel, our executive safety walks provide on-site engagement and real-time feedback, demonstrating visible leadership and accountability across all teams.
2. Risk awareness and assessment
Empowering employees to identify, manage and report risks is central to our approach. Job Safety Analysis promotes critical thinking and hazard awareness before tasks begin, while Gemba Walks allow managers and supervisors to engage directly with teams, observe processes, and mitigate risks on the ground.
3. Standardised approach
Our Safety Critical Rules target the 12 highest-risk activities across our global operations to ensure a consistent set of high standards. Our Group EHS Management System is streamlined to harmonise practices across our regions and by promoting shared learning from incidents and successes, we are driving continuous improvement across all sites.
